White Lady was launched in bottles in 2011, to celebrate 50 years of skiing in Scotland with the opening of Cairngorm Mountain’s first chairlift on the challenging White Lady ski run.
A Bavarian Style Wheat Beer, with additional hints of roast malt for colour - brewed with Orange Peel and Coriander to give fruit flavours with a hint of spice.
- This wheat beer is not cloudy and is best served slightly chilled.
- No added Preservatives.
- Contains Barley & Wheat.
- Suitable for Vegetarians & Vegans (bottles only).
- Alc 4.7%. 1 x 500ml Bottle = 2.4 UK Units.
With its spicy, orange flavours this beer goes well with pork chops and coucous. Also a firm favourite with a sausage at a sunny BBQ. This refreshing beer is great served cool at 8-9 degrees to cool you down on a summers day. Why not get some for your next BBQ.
Enjoy the high life with a slightly chilled White Lady!
The White Lady on the label is a female Ptarmigan, a grouse that loves the high life. Intense cold, blizzards and gales in the wildest parts of Scotlands are all part of everyday life for our “White Lady”.
Ptarmigan are probably the toughest birds in Britain. They are masters of camouflage, changing their colour to suit the seasons. Completely white in winter, except for a short black tail they change in summer to a brown and yellow plumage to blend in with the lichen covered rocks.
White Lady is not just a tough mountain bird it is also the name of one of the most famous ski runs on Cairngorm Mountain.
